Hunter Williams graduated with honors at NYU Tisch with a bachelor's degree in fine arts in May of 2017. While at Tisch, he pursued his passion in cinematography by spending 3 seasons assisting the camera department on Orange is the New Black. He further developed his skills by producing and editing a documentary in Cuba for 3 months, named "Harlista Libre", for which he won multiple awards. During his senior year, he found an intersection between his love for cinematography and post production through CG and visual effects by freelancing for Trident Post. 

 

After graduating, he immediately started full-time employment with Trident Post Production in Boston. His responsibilities include handling all visual-effects related tasks for commercial projects and supervising all off-site freelancers. While at Trident, he completed multiple Houdini courses and spent late nights and weekends honing his technical skills to accompany his love for artistic imagery. He gained useful experience through his opportunities at Trident and self-driven projects that he posts to this website and Instagram. He recently moved to LA and is working as an FX artist at Luma Pictures.
